To qualify as an ACCA member, students will need to do the following
- Clear 14 exams
- Complete 36 months of work experience and 13 performance objectives
- Complete the Professional ethics module

A student is expected to pass both the fundamental and the professional levels to qualify. The fundamental level comprises of 9 papers and the professional level comprises of 5 papers. The students are given an option of selecting the 5 papers from a set of 7 in the professional level.

Computer Based Examinations
Students who have enrolled for ACCA Knowledge Module have the option to attempt computer based examinations at the end of the course.
eNoah iSolutions is the authorized centre for computer based exams in Chennai.
Paper Based Examinations
Paper based examinations are normally held during first and second week of June and December every year. All the registered students shall receive their examination entry forms in February and August for the June and December examinations respectively.
All the registered students have the option of registering for the exams through online.

Students are required to complete the enrolment form with full personal particulars, including ACCA registration numbers (if available), choice of papers and classes. ANSA accepts payments by cheque and demand draft.
In the event of class registration getting closed, compensation classes for a nominal fee shall be taken.

WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY
The following refund policy shall apply for any withdrawal upon receipt of a written notice of cancellation.

ANSA ID Card
Students are provided with ID cards. Students are requested to bring the ID cards for entry into the classes.
ANSA reserves the right to vary or cancel any of the courses, and changing the venue of the courses. In the event of course cancellation, students shall receive full refund of the course fees.
Transfer of Classes
ANSA does not encourage students from transferring a course enrolled, within the session or to next session. However, students transfer of class in event of unavoidable circumstances shall be analyzed on case to case basis on receipt of a written notice from students. Students may have to pay additional fees depending upon the courses.
ANSA conducts the courses at AEC Business School, Dr Giriappa Road, T Nagar, Chennai. ANSA reserves the right to change the course venue.

Monday to Sunday : 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Closed on Public Holidays
Course Delivery & Quality Control
ANSA follows Kaplan Study material for study text & exam kit. BPP & GTG study materials shall be placed in library for reference purpose.
ANSA provides the lecture notes to students on important topics in each paper.
Lectures provide 6 assignments in each session. Students have to submit the completed assignments on time.
ANSA conducts three exams in each session. ANSA shall also conduct more mock examinations on students’ request.
Classrooms & Study rooms
All ANSA classrooms are air-conditioned with comfortable seating arrangements. Study rooms are opened during operation hours subject to availability of classrooms
ANSA Notice Board
Changes in lecture schedules, latest updates and other important announcements are displayed in the notice board.
Students are to sign the attendance sheet in the presence of lectures. ANSA expects a minimum 90% attendance for all classes.
ANSA periodically collects feedback from students & lecturers during the progress of the course. ANSA maintains file for each paper & each student with duplicate copy of mock examinations, assignments, attendance, lecture notes etc.
Students must not commit a disciplinary offence, failing which ANSA shall take severe action and such students will not be permitted to attend the classes. ANSA also does not allow the students to attend the class unless they have paid their fees.
K. Balachandran MA, FCMA
Around 35 years experience mainly in Textiles & Sugar Industry having held Senior Management positions such as DGM Finance, Accounts and Cost, GM Operations and Director- Finance and Operations. His experience encompasses almost all branches of management including Materials, HR, Marketing and Technical.
Currently he is a practicising Management Accountant and Management Consultant. He has handled a variety of professional assignments in industries such as Batteries, Distilleries, Pharma, Transport, Detergents, and Engineering. His assignment includes rehabilitation of sick Companies, design and installation of Management Accounting and Management Information System and Cost audit.
He has been faculty since the inception of ANSA, teaching F1, F2, F5, P3 and P5. He also plays a mentor role for students opting for BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brook University.
S. Shanmugam B.Com, ACA
Around 20 years of experience in Teaching & Auditing. He was a practicing Chartered Accountant and has experience in auditing & teaching and conducting training programmes for corporate.
Currently he is actively involved in the teaching field taking classes for management graduates in various business schools in Chennai & Bangalore.
He has been a member of the ANSA faculty team from 2009 teaching F7, F8, P1, P2 and P7.
S.W. Karunakaran M.Com
Has around 50 years of experience mainly in Teaching, Taxation & Administration, having held positions like Assessing officer, Tax Expert, Head of Tax Consulting Division in taxation field, Lecturer & Director in teaching field and has served as a Director of a company. He has experience in providing tax advice, drafting tax laws, training etc and taking ACCA classes and administering ACCA tuition centre.
Currently he is actively involved in taking tuition classes for ACCA Papers. He has been appointed as faculty member from December 2012 exam tuition session. His areas of expertise are taxation & other laws. He is teaching F4, F6 & P6.
Deepa Ganeshram CA
Around 9 years of post qualification experience with companies like IDBI Capital Market Services, Irevna Research (a subsidiary of Standard & Poor's) and with Grant Thornton.
Currently she is a freelance Financial Consultant & IFRS trainer. She has handled Valuation assignments, and is a part of the resource team of a firm which is actively involved in imparting IFRS training for corporate executives and also employees of audit firms. She is also involved in preparing study material for an institution imparting coaching for CA, ICWA and CPA.
She has been faculty since 2010 of ANSA teaching F1, F2 & F3.
D. Kishore B.Com, ACA, ACMA, CGMA, CISA
Around 3 years of post qualification experience in Business Valuations, Financial Projections, preparing Accounting & Financial manuals, designing & implementing MIS.
Currently he is a Management Consultant & IFRS trainer. He has handled assignments in Valuations, Business Process Reengineering, Internal Audit & Information Security Audit. He is acting as mentor for CIMA students.
His areas of interest are Performance Management & Financial Management. He is teaching F9 & P4.
About OBU Programme
Oxford Brookes University Degree Programme
ACCA and Oxford Brookes University have worked together to develop a BSc in Applied Accounting, which is available exclusively to ACCA students who wish to obtain a degree while studying towards the ACCA Qualification.
Admission & Eligibility
On registering for ACCA qualifications, students are automatically opted in for BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting. Students can also choose to opt out of BSc Program. They can also opt back in to the program before they attempt any of papers F7, F8 & F9.
To be awarded, the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting the student must:
- Pass three fundamental papers F7, F8 & F9 and pass other papers as required to successfully complete all nine fundamental papers
- complete the ACCA Professional Ethics module
- Complete and pass the Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis Project

ANSA will assist the students by assigning a resource person for each student who is undergoing the OBU programme.
